Steffy set boundaries with Liam about their relationship and told him that she was a happily married woman. When she and Finn discussed Hope and Thomas' kiss in Rome, Finn called Steffy an honest and caring person with principles, and Steffy looked conflicted, thinking of Liam's kiss. Wyatt talked Liam into hearing Hope out, but when Hope asked Liam if he'd seen Steffy, she figured that some things were predictable. Liam said he hadn't given Steffy a thought prior to Rome, but he was thinking about her since. Liam insisted upon a divorce, and Hope rushed to talk to Thomas about her feelings. Thomas, who'd heard about Liam's Rome trip from Steffy, felt bad about derailing Hope's marriage. Hope took responsibility for it and said Liam wanted Steffy; however, Hope wanted the man who only wanted her -- Thomas.

Brook Lynn was forced to confess that she had downloaded a file on Deceptor from Maxie's computer, but she claimed that it had been for Deception business. Tracy hired Diane to represent her in a lawsuit against Deception. Mac stepped in as interim police commissioner. Felicia discovered that Martin had been receiving monthly $50,000 payments from someone in Pine Valley. Lucy decided to accompany Felicia to Pennsylvania. Tracy proposed that Martin run ELQ during Valentin's absence. Kristina suggested that she be Molly's surrogate. A shot rang out at Metro Court's pool.

Victor attempted to dissuade Victoria and Adam from going to battle in business, but he feared that his children were on a path to war. Victor warned Audra that Adam was gearing up to take over Newman Media. Victor begged Nick to help support Adam by working with him at McCall Unlimited. Nikki objected when Victoria dissolved Nick's support team and assigned Nate to handle important meetings solo. Summer moved into the Athletic Club after assuring Harrison that she would always be there for him. Daniel informed Phyllis that Summer and Kyle had separated, hoping it would lure Phyllis back to town. Jack insisted that Kyle step down at Marchetti. Billy urged Chelsea to consider Summer's job offer to become Marchetti's creative director. After Kyle sent Audra flowers and diamond earrings, they continued their affair. Devon and Abby accepted Chance's offer to move into the Chancellor mansion, while Lily opted to take ownership of Devon's penthouse. Sally used work as a distraction from her grief.
