Danny was hanging around the Beacon with Cassie, waiting until it was time for him to go see Michelle and Robbie. Bill was there, exchanging gifts with Beth. Bill and Danny exchanged some words over Michelle when they learned they were both due to arrive at her house. There was a bad snowstorm, and Bill ran his car into a snowbank three blocks from Michelle's house, so he walked the rest of the way, and it looked like he was going to be at Michelle's for the night.

Danny tried to go see Michelle and Robbie but found that his car was stuck, and there was no phone service. It looked as if he would be stuck at the Beacon with Cassie. Bill fell asleep on Michelle's couch and was dreaming of kissing Michelle.

Phillip got to Olivia's car, and she informed him that Alan had seen the tape and kicked her out. Phillip got her out of her car, but his own car wouldn't start. Olivia was unable to walk because she'd hurt her leg in the wreck. Phillip called Alan, but Alan didn't go to help. He said he didn't care what happened to either of them. Alexandra kept hounding Alan to go to her aid, but he refused.

Phillip carried Olivia back to Company because she refused to go to the hospital. They were stuck at Company for the night due to the snowstorm. Phillip bandaged her leg up for her.

Alan was unnerved when Gus and the Coopers arrived for Christmas. Marina and Ben delivered a fruit basket for Olivia. Ben then surprised Marina with a special bracelet. Thanks to the snowstorm, Danny was stuck with Cassie at the Beacon while Bill helped Michelle get ready for Robbie's first Christmas.

Stranger Stanley Elkin emerged from the snowstorm, seeking shelter, and as he checked into the hotel, he admitted to Cassie that he'd been on his own for 50 years. When Stanley warned them about being afraid to take chances and then completely disappeared with no trace, Danny made his way to the Bauer house, where he was unnerved to see Michelle had fallen asleep next to Bill on the couch.

Josh invited Tony to stay for Christmas dinner and welcomed Cassie when she stopped by. Mel, Rick, Holly, and Ed joined Blake and Ross to celebrate Christmas. When her guests wouldn't leave, Blake asked Ross to marry her. Surprised, Ross quickly agreed. The four guests offered their congratulations upon hearing the good news.

Just as Olivia and Phillip settled in at Company to wait out the storm, a group of cold carolers interrupted and convinced the "proprietors" to let them stay. Alan finally arrived, and thanks to Phillip, he ended his anger toward Olivia and escorted her back home while Phillip remained.

At Company, Gus told Harley that the ring had belonged to mother. When she'd died, his father had given it to him, and all that time, he had been waiting to give it to the right person. He added that there had never been a person that had ever been enough for him. He said that he'd woken up that morning, and the right person was Cooper. He told her to say something.

Harley wanted to know if he was doing that because of the conversation with Alex. He said no. Marina told Ben that Gus had given Harley an engagement ring. But Gus said nobody had said it was an engagement ring. Harley asked them to back off. Harley wanted to know if it was an engagement ring. Gus replied that it was more like a training ring. He commented that it was like getting training wheels for a bicycle.

Harley said she loved it because it had belonged to his mother. Gus said his mother would have loved to meet her. He added that his father had said if he gave it to a girl, it should be the real deal. Harley said she hoped he never had any reason to doubt his father's word.

Eden entered. She wanted to know if congratulations were in order. She was shocked that it was her mother's ring that Gus had given Harley. Frank answered the phone and told Harley it was for her. When Harley returned to the table, she said she had to go. She said there was something she had to investigate. Harley exited. Outside Company, Frank approached Harley and asked if it was Joe August's partner that had called.

Gus told Eden that he'd found someone good enough for his mother's ring. He asked Frank whom it was that Harley had to interview. Frank said he couldn't say.

At the Spaulding mansion, Phillip told Alan that he couldn't call him a traitor. But Alan said that he didn't understand how his son could support him and then make out with his wife. Alan said the stakes were much higher. Alan said all Phillip did was to compete instead of loving him. Phillip said he had been trying to make a place for himself, and he wanted to be free of Alan's ego.

Phillip asked why he hadn't let Alan die. Alan said it was because he'd felt guilty. Phillip admitted that at one time he'd had feelings for Olivia but not anymore. Phillip was confused in thinking that Alan was going to give Olivia another chance.Alan said all he could see when he looked at Olivia was her being with Phillip in the hot tub and in the elevator. Phillip asked Alan to think about Olivia because she did love him.

Alan pointed to the picture that Olivia had given him and said he had been confused after he'd watched them on the tape. Phillip said he cared about Alan. Alan said to Phillip, "You don't give a damn about me because you are in love with my wife." Alan said Phillip was a stranger to him -- and an enemy. Phillip exited.

Olivia entered. She asked Phillip if Alan was in. Phillip said that Alan wasn't in the mood for company. Phillip was confused as to what had happened. She said she'd needed to make Alan understand how much the marriage meant to her. He told her he had been branded as a traitor. Phillip said there wasn't much left to go wrong. Phillip exited.

Alan found a note in the back of the picture. The note was addressed to Phillip, indicating that the picture was a Christmas present for Phillip from Olivia. Olivia entered. She asked if it was a bad time. She asked that he listen to her or scream at her. She admitted that what had happened in the elevator had been childish. She said that being his wife meant everything to her.

Olivia pleaded for Alan to give her a chance. Instead, Alan said, "Bravo, what a wonderful speech!" He suggested she tell Alex that her little pitch hadn't worked. He showed her the note. He crumpled the note in his hand and said he couldn't trust a word she said.

At the Lewis house, Reva admitted the calls had been happening since before Christmas. Josh wanted to know why she hadn't told him. Reva said that everyone had been happy, and she hadn't wanted to mention it. Josh couldn't understand why it was happening, since the trial was over. Reva commented that he should try to imagine someone who had no principles. She said she thought it was Edmund.

Josh agreed but wanted to know why Edmund would stop the calls. He figured that it would be easier for Edmund to track her down. As Reva was putting on her coat, she said she was going to find out. Josh said he would go with her.

At the Beacon, Alex asked Olivia to sit down and calm down. Olivia said that Alan had just shut down on her. Olivia said she'd trusted Alex, and then she'd stabbed her in the back. Alex said she hadn't given Alan the tape. However, Olivia knew that she had wanted her to stay away from Alan. Alex admitted that she'd thought that from the start. Olivia said that she'd had the picture framed for Phillip, and Alan had seen it and thought it was for him. She wanted to know what to do to make it up to Alan. Alex suggested she ask Alan.

Edmund entered. Reva told him to say it to her face. She told him he was a coward. Alex intervened and said that nobody spoke to her Edmund with that tone. Alex said she'd heard Reva was in prison. Josh entered. Reva told Alex that her business was with Edmund. Reva said it was harassment with threatening phone calls.

Reva asked if Alex could vouch for Edmund's whereabouts. Alex said that Edmund had been with her all night long. Reva told Alex that she hoped she wasn't so desperate for a man that she settled for Edmund. Josh told her that he'd heard the voice too. Alex and Edmund exited. Josh said that Edmund might be telling the truth.

In Alex's hotel room, she wanted to know if he'd made the threatening phone calls. He said he hadn't.

At the cabin, Joe August's partner wanted to know if Harley wanted to talk about Carmen Santos. Harley began to look at the pictures on the wall. He said that was a picture of his partner, Joe August. He said he had been shot down in the street in front of his kids. Harley said Carmen was in jail, looking at a life sentence.

Harley said she wanted to know the real reason Joe August had died. She asked if he had been on the Santos payroll. He asked her to leave. However, Harley wanted to be sure she had all her bases covered with Carmen. He said that Joe had been clean, and he wouldn't have taken any money from the Santos family. He once again asked her to leave. Harley exited.

Harley returned to the cabin. She began to survey the room. As she walked around the room, she opened a closet door. She noticed designer clothes and found a secret compartment. He entered. He asked her if she was still curious.

Danny and Michelle had plans for a "date" on New Year's Eve. Ed and Rick were concerned that Michelle was only going to get hurt or be in danger again, and they went to see Danny at the Beacon. Rick was visibly angry, asking Danny what his intentions were. Rick asked him if he could really keep Michelle safe.

Danny had a talk with Tony at the Beacon, too, and told him that they needed to think of a way to make money legitimately. Danny wanted to have a plan for the future to show Michelle security. He recommended getting music into the nightclubs he and Tony owned.

Tony went to see Carmen because she'd said she had information about his father that would change his life. When he got there, Carmen told Tony that Eden was the one who had killed his father. She went on to tell Tony that his father had killed Joe August, and Gus and Eden had found out about it and lured his father to the roof then pushed him off. Tony was in total disbelief and left. He called Eden and told her that her last paycheck was ready, and she should pick it up.

A guard showed up to take Carmen to the federal prison, but he was no guard at all. He was going to get Carmen out of the country, but Carmen said she had to make one stop before they left -- to pick up her grandson.

Harley broke in to Joe August's old partner's apartment, and he caught her in his closet. When her cell phone rang, it was Gus, and he grabbed the phone from Harley and answered it. Gus kept asking who he was, but Harley grabbed the phone back. Gus knew something was going on. Harley left the man's apartment without getting any information.

Joe's old partner said he was on his way to "the Islands" for a while, and Harley was wondering how he could afford that, but he slammed the door in her face. Gus, Eden, and Harley met at Company. Harley tried to get information from Eden about her father. She told Eden she thought what Carmen had said about Joe August being "on the take" was a lie, but Eden wanted her to leave it alone.

Gus called his dad's old partner, where Harley had been, and asked him to attend the ceremony being put on for Gus and Harley for taking down the Santos family. He said he would be there and told Gus of the pretty blonde detective that had been at his apartment. Gus realized it was Harley.
