Jason Tam joined the cast of One Life to Live in May 2007 in the role of high school student Markko Rivera. He holds an impressive distinction of doing double duty by simultaneously appearing on OLTL and as Paul in the original cast of the revival of A Chorus Line on Broadway.

Mr. Tam was born and raised in Aina Haina, HI. He moved to New York City in 2001 to attend NYU School of the Arts where he received his BFA. Most recently, Mr. Tam appeared in the workshop of The Nightingale by Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater, the creators of Broadway's Spring Awakening.

Mr. Tam began down the road to performing at an early age. He began his training with gymnastics while he was in kindergarten. At the young age of 10 years old, he was a series co-host on The Music Factory, an educational music inspired television show for children. He then moved to the stage in the third grade with school productions and community theatre which included roles in such musicals as Bye Bye Birdie, The Music Man, Oliver, and Grease among others. His first venture into the dance world was with a performance of The Nutcracker when he was in fourth grade with Ballet Hawaii. It was not until high school that Mr. Tam began his formal dance training and following graduation, he went on to become a series regular on the television show, Beyond the Break.

After graduating from college, Mr. Tam performed in regional theatre in The King and I, She Loves Me, West Side Story, and Footloose. He also appeared in the Canadian National Tour of Les Miserables in the role of Gavroche, the same role he appeared in on Broadway.

Mr. Tam resides in New York City.
